Cape May
Cape May is the country's oldest seaside resort, at the southern tip of New Jersey. The entire city was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1976 for its collection of 19th-century seaside wood-frame buildings. It's known for Victorian inns, wide beaches and the pedestrian Washington Street Mall.
