Princeton is a university town in Mercer County, home to Princeton University and a walkable downtown built around Nassau Street, Witherspoon Street and Palmer Square. NJ Transit's short Princeton Branch shuttle, known locally as the Dinky, links it to Princeton Junction on the Northeast Corridor.
